We have a few of these hood fans in our schools, and really like them so far as the performance and build quality is excellent so justifies what might appear to be high price point.

This is a very well made domestic, professional range hood. The lights are great and so is the function. I like that it isn’t as deep because I am tall and I appreciate not hitting my head as easily because it doesn’t stick out a ton. .

The in-ceiling range hood works great over my kitchen island and induction oven. Light dimmers and various power settings for the vent are great. It stays up and out of view but does its job just the same. Make sure that it fits with your kitchen as it does need to fit in the same direction that the attic trusses run.
Also appreciate the fact that this company makes sure to pay the duties and taxes for international shipments as they are based out of Canada. That way there are no surprises during arrival.

We’ve had the Horizon for about 3 months installed at time of review. We don’t cook heavy grease or smokey food much inside the house, but it works for what we do cook. The white blends well and the near flush mount was an important aesthetic we were looking for. The lights on the hood work reasonably by themselves but we use our other lights for the room most of the time. Our electrician installed the wall mounted wired control, and two wireless controls on the island (fan on one side, lights on the other). The kitchen is not fully done and we still need to contact Victory for the control knob and cover for the plate on the wall. Currently it is set to max fan speed and is somewhat noisy, but we haven’t tried lower fan settings since the control does not have the knob yet. There was a delay in delivery of the hood by about 1 week, however customer service is very easy to reach and talk to. Overall we are very happy.

This is a great range hood. Good quality. Excellent value when you compare to the big name brands. One criticism. Move the rivet line at the top of the hood back about 1/2 an inch.

Victory support was very helpful all through the process from making a decision as to which exhaust fan to use and later purchasing a different wall plate cover as we decided to use the same black granite from the countertop to make a backsplash later in the project. I had to build a box to hang my unit from as the joists were running the wrong way to insert it for a flush ceiling mount. Victory support helped me make sure I was using the correct size duct as I was trying to keep it as close to the ceiling as possible. I had no problem with the installation and connections for the fan and lights. The lighting is great for over our cooktop and the the fan looks and works great. I have had several contractors comment they had never seen an exhaust fan like this and they were impressed.

This range hood has been installed for a couple months. It looks great, not too loud, the lights are nice. No beeps which I very much prefer. The power is definitely strong enough for my purposes. Just a note - it was confusing to determine whether the hood is supposed to angle up slightly or to be parallel to the ground, and we finally figured out it should angle up a bit. Just FYI.

I highly recommend Victory Range. The service was great 👍. My friends came to visit and they were also surprise how great it looks.

Very nice fan - it looks extremely well built. It is a bit louder than our previous fan - but it's twice as powerful too. There were some issues with installation - the instructions (on the web and in the box) are Wrong! It is not 29.5" wide - it's 29.75". This is important. Also, I think the wall mounting would have gone well - but we didn't have that option and doing the under cabinet mounting was difficult - the mounting holes are not easily accessible. We ended up drilling two holes (one each side) which made mounting easier - then using the intended mounting holes. Other than those issues, we are very happy.

After researching several brands I pulled the trigger on the Victory Twister model with the 8 inch duct.
What sold me was the simplicity of the unit. Old school dials with no electronics.
So far been very happy with the performance. Motor is very strong at the highest setting.

We have not installed our range hood yet. Our customer service has been excellent and we look forward to an amazing product once installed.

We replaced our old hood fan, a Faber Tender 30", which was just over 10 years old. The motor had failed twice, and the cost of a new motor was very high. The buttons didn't work very well on the unit (from brand new), it was leaking grease out of it from every corner as there was no internal trap system, and the lights were falling out of the body.

This Victory hood is a huge upgrade on all levels. Mechanical switch has a nice feel, lights are brighter, integral grease trap system is going to make cleanup a mile better, and the fan/motor is much quieter. It was also a breeze to install as we already had a 6" duct. Highly recommended! I love that it is made in Canada as well.

Good looking hood and is very powerful but also quiet. On reciept the fascia buttons were damaged cosmetically. Victory offered to discount 100 or send me a replacement part or to refund fully. Neither of these were very attractive resolutions but to avoid repacking and returning such a huge item, I opted for the part. It was easy enough to change out but came with no instructions. This is the reason for the 4 stars and not 5

I am very inpressed with this product. The technical literature is top tier as well as the logistics to bring it to site. I work in the mechanical trades and am thoroughly impressed with the simple, yet high quality nature of the product. Very happy with Victory Range Hoods
