This hood was exactly what I wanted for my window-facing stove. Flush to the ceiling to that it wouldn't block the windows, clean design, very strong motor to pull fumes from so far above the stove, bright lights, easy to clean, and best of all were the simple controls - a switch for the lights and a dial for the fan setting. No annoying touch screen! The fan is quiet for how powerful it is. Customer service answered my questions quickly, delivery came on time. I have been thrilled with the hood fan and have been recommending Victory to my friends.
Sleek design and effective ventilation. It does get a bit noisy on high speed, but runs quietly on low. Works well overall — highly recommend!
We didn’t know if we could find the range hood that would meet our needs. It had to fit into our ceiling, but needed to be attractive to not ruin our view. The Victoria Sunset met our needs.
Got the stainless steel version. Has a good heft to it. Can sometimes hear the wind from inside on windier days. Didn't find many other alternatives so I'm glad Victory carries this product.
Quiet and powerful. Bright lights, sometimes tricks me in thinking my under cabinet lights are on. Wasn't planning to splurge on a fan during my kitchen reno, but after researching, it came down to the Q5 and another brand. Ended up choosing the Q5 because it had better specs, much better warranty and is Canadian. I also appreciated the much more detailed spec sheet Victory publishes compared to other brands -- gives me confidence that Victory stands behind its products. Would buy again, but I think it might outlast me.
Appareil offrant très bon rapport qualité prix. Bon service avec livraison dans les temps annoncés au moment de la commande.
Excellent profuct and excellent service!
Sturdy and well built. Not the easiest to install particularly for rear mounted configurations - access to the rear bolts from within will cramp your hands - but it runs beautifully. Motors are well balanced and quiet and the finish is really good.
600 CFM Ceiling Mount Range Hood with Remote - VICTORY Sunrise
We recently installed a ceiling exhaust fan from Victory Range Hoods (chatgpt://generic-entity?number=0) , and we could not be more satisfied!
This unit performs exactly the way a proper ceiling fan should. The suction is strong and immediate. When we sear meat or cook at high heat, the smoke and odors are pulled out quickly rather than lingering in the kitchen. It does the job without hesitation.
The build quality stands out right away. The stainless steel is solid and substantial, not thin or flimsy. The baffle filters are commercial-grade and easy to remove and clean. Nothing rattles. Nothing feels cheap. It is clear this hood was built to last.
Noise is very reasonable for the power it produces. On lower settings, it is quiet enough for normal conversation. At high speed, you can hear it working, but that is expected with serious airflow.
The lighting is bright and clean, which makes a real difference when cooking. Installation was straightforward with clear instructions and proper hardware included.
In short, this is serious equipment for people who actually cook. It is powerful, well-built, and dependable. I would absolutely recommend Victory to anyone who wants ventilation that performs as it should.
36 Inch 900 CFM Under Cabinet Range Hood - VICTORY Verona
This was probably one of the items I splurged on during our renovation and I'm super glad I did. It's super quiet when on and doesn't disrupt conversations happening in our kitchen.
Not installed yet waiting for snow is gone and was to cold outside
This is a great range hood, simple straightforward design made with solid quality. We are loving it.
Works great. Quiet. Easy install.
I cannot recommend this range hood highly enough! I wanted to wait until we had been using it for a couple months before writing this review to make sure we were truly pleased with it.
After wasting money on two (!) big name brand range hoods, made God knows where, that were cheap, thin steel and plastic fan housings that warped and scraped and did not remove cooking steam and smells- we decided to look for a range hood that is Canadian made and had good reviews.
Our Victory Range Hood is made of thick, quality steel, the fan housings are steel, the motors are quiet and super efficient. The baffle filters are beautiful and easy to clean. There is literally no plastic on this unit and it works like a charm. And it's beautiful rounded corners are great. SUPER pleased with it and was happy to pay only just slightly more than the big name brand garbage range hoods are.
The only comment I would make, if you are using this unit as a retrofit to replace an existing unit- I had to make a couple of adjustments to the cabinet above as my vent piping did not line up exactly with the exhaust ports on the Victory unit. And I had to install an electrical receptacle in the cabinet as the new unit has a plug that goes out the top. Both relativity easy fixes and I would not hesitate to do it again because this Victory range hood works great and is worth way more than what we paid for it. 👏👏👏🇨🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦
We needed a hood insert of a certain size and Victory fit the bill at a great price. It's a very nice looking insert, though it does have some sharp edges on the grills. The light won't stay on if turned past a certain dimmness; that's really our only complaint.
Looks and works great except for one of the lights works intermittently and no instructions for removing them or replacing them.
Thank you for the review, Dave!
The installation manual typically includes instructions regarding the replacement of lights. If you have questions or need more assistance, please email our team at support@victoryrangehoods.com, we respond within 24 hours!
We completely remodeled our kitchen which involved knocking walls down. It's a beautiful kitchen. The one thing everyone comments on is the hood. I love the flush mount, it actually works! Tested the first time I cooked, lol. It is loud, but not in a crazy or annoying way. It was worth every penny. We had to do some special custom framing in the ceiling because of the way our joists are, but the hood itself was easy to install.
Thank you for the kind review!
If you have any concerns about the sound levels at all, please send a photo of your outside wall/roof cap to our team at support@victoryrangehoods.com and we would be happy to review the installation for any potential improvements.
Love the idea of solid turn switches (motherboards and eventual grease accumulation don’t mix!!) this is quality product they take pride in their craft 👍🏻👍🏻
I have bought 3 hoods in the past. When renovating the new kitchen I wanted a hood that was quite, but also powerful that it could get rid of cooking odors and fumes. I stumbled upon the Victory hood site and read reviews and the Twister fitted my needs. It's elegant, beautiful and preforms well. Extremely happy with my purchase. Thank you Victory
Previous hood: Elica ELN136SS
Currently mounted to 8" vent duct.
Compared to the Elica:
Build Quality: Elica has smoother edges and insulation to reduce noise levels. Victory has sharp edges particularly on the baffle filters which could cause cuts when attempting to wipe clean.
Airflow: Victory has better airflow likely due to larger hood design enabling better airflow into the fan. Elica has a more compact design resulting in slower airflow into the fan.
Noise level: the Victory hood has subjectively lower sound levels likely due to larger hood volume resulting in lower airspeeds even though more air is moved.
Lighting: Victory has significantly better lighting
Customer Service:
Damage was noted on the unit that did not affect function. Financial compensation was provided promptly. CS attributed damage to shipping.
Looks great, good quality and works well.
