The in-ceiling range hood works great over my kitchen island and induction oven. Light dimmers and various power settings for the vent are great. It stays up and out of view but does its job just the same. Make sure that it fits with your kitchen as it does need to fit in the same direction that the attic trusses run.
Also appreciate the fact that this company makes sure to pay the duties and taxes for international shipments as they are based out of Canada. That way there are no surprises during arrival.

This range hood, though mounted much higher than the regular „under cabinet“ ones, works just as well. It’s beautiful and has many settings, the lower settings are super quiet. We’re very happy with it and would recommend it to anyone else.

Finally installed the range hood, works great, looks super, no obstruction of the nice view out my windows. Not quite finished my reno but wanted to send a picture now that it is functional.

The hood is very quiet, seamlessly blends in, and very powerful. I tested frying bacon and it didn't even need the highest setting to properly vent. Everyone has been impressed, with most not even noticing that it was there until I pointed it out.
I did end up needing to have the electricians put in a new circuit as the existing hard wire was positioned for a regular range and wouldn't reach. This one needs the wire to go to the light switch and fan control panel lower down, So probably take that into account if getting it installed.
One thing I would suggest to the manufacturer is that the door panel be fully removable? It was somewhat uncomfortable to install the range hood with the door open and hanging down. Maybe use hooks instead of hinges on one side with the latch as it is on the other side?

We love the sleekness of having a ceiling vent. People who see it think it’s such a great option. It works really well at taking cooking smells out of the house. The only thing I would say is, beware, it can be noisy on setting 3 and 4. We would recommend it to anyone.
