Frequently Asked Questions

Where exactly are the blowers located in the Victory Verona 36 inch range hood?

Both blowers are located internally within the main canopy of the hood, positioned directly above the baffle filters. This internal placement allows the dual-motor system to pull air immediately through the filters and into the ductwork without needing an external motor.

What size ducting is required for the Victory Verona 36" 900 CFM range hood?

This model requires an 8-inch round duct for optimal performance. Using the recommended 8-inch diameter is critical to maintaining full airflow capacity and ensuring the unit operates at its quietest intended noise level.

What is the recommended mounting height for the Victory Verona 36" range hood?

For optimal performance, the hood should be installed 24" to 30" above the cooking surface. This range ensures the 900 CFM dual blowers effectively capture heat and grease while maintaining the safety and longevity of the internal components.

What kind of warranty comes with the Victory Verona 36" range hood?

The Victory Verona includes a lifetime warranty on the motors and a 5-year parts warranty. Assembled in Canada with heavy-duty 304 stainless steel, this model is engineered for professional-grade durability and long-term reliability in residential kitchens.

What type of lighting and controls does the Victory Verona 36" use?

The Verona features two dimmable 3000K warm LED lights and a 4-speed hidden mechanical rotary switch. This mechanical design offers superior long-term reliability over electronic touchpads, while the standard GU10 LED bulbs provide excellent visibility and are easily replaceable at any local hardware store.

The light stopped working in the first 30 days . I was sent a new part which I have to pay to get installed which has not happened yet

A hood fan that works!

A game-changer for our open-concept kitchen renovation. It completely eliminates heavy cooking odours—you can fry fish or bacon, and guests walking through the front door have no idea. Plus, the overhead light provides perfect task lighting. Highly recommend.

I spent a long time researching hoods and this was the right pick! Exactly as described and pictured.

This thing is really well made, really solid construction, and looks fantastic

As expected

Truly silent, simple, efficient and high-performing

This fan is very well built, and I cannot believe how quiet it is

My Verona!

Excellent build quality. Beautiful design. Powerful.
You get more than you pay for.

Louder than anticipated

Our Victory Verona 30 inch under cabinet hood arrived well packaged. It is a very a nice looking range hood, and is very heavy, however it is not as effective on the lower, quieter settings. We were looking for a quiet range hood that removed odours efficiently. The hope was that we could carry on a reasonably normal conversation while using it, but in order to move the air out it needs to be at the louder settings. Nice looking, seemingly well put together, but not as quiet as advertised.

Hi Judy, thank you for the feedback!

Please note, the Verona model is the quietest option on the market for this CFM level and noise rating. If your unit is loud, there could be a concern with the ducting or outside vent cap.

Please kindly email support@victoryrangehoods.com with photos of your outside cap (roof or wall) as well as details on the ducting and duct turns. We'll do our best to troubleshoot this with you so that your fan can be as quiet as possible.

Thank you again for the review!

Interfacing with existing venting for several reasons was not easy but Victory's stellar customer support by way of many phone calls helped me find solutions. One was adjusting the Verona for 600 cfms for a 6" vent pipe. We now have a quieter fan as a bonus. The Verona has a minimal visual presence that blends into any period, even our 1940s kitchen. With NO sharp corners and mechanical switches. The Verona has a presence of build quality that matches our 1940s Okeefe & Merritt stove. That is as good as it gets.

Highly recommend

Sleek design and effective ventilation. It does get a bit noisy on high speed, but runs quietly on low. Works well overall — highly recommend!
