Bought this during the black friday sale for a great price. Install was straightforward and the hood looks really well built. Much more powerful than the typical hood sold at box stores, so far so good!

I am very pleased with the quality and beauty of the range hood. Shipping was very fast, and packaging is excellent. Above all, Victory's customer service and communication is outstanding!
The range hood functionality is perfect too, love the mechanical switches and it's very quiet yet powerful.

We are very pleased with the unit received. Quality of system and materials provided to complete the install were great. We were initially concerned with the large size but once installed, it is appropriate size for our island and cooktop. Glad we found this to service our kitchen needs.

I love my new Victory Sunset Range Hood. It is beautiful and does an amazing job of removing kitchen odors from the house. I had no idea that my old fan was working so poorly until the Victory unit was up and running. I had asked our contractor to find something that was flush/ceiling mounted as we had opened up the wall to the dining room and I didn’t want it too visible or coming down too low. Perfection! Thank you.

Item was delivered in good shop and on a Quick Look appears to be in good shape
As it is part a major renovation it won’t be installed for a few weeks.

Drawn to this product for its ease of installation, I have discovered it’s one of the highest quality vents around. Who wants to use a remote for an appliance? Love the wall dial for fan speeds and the lights. A++. Couldn’t wish for a better, more beautiful product!! Vents perfectly

Great fan, very happy. Super quiet on lower settings, this was a must. Higher speeds are also quieter than expected....and it looks great.
One issue, with the 8" duct you need to have your power outlet on the right side. If your outlet is on the left side there's no room between wall and vent to run the power cord and cord isn't long enough to reach around the front side the vent pipe. The location of the wall studs left me with only an extra 1/2 inch of space, I could barely get the unit plugged in. A longer cord and/ or an offset plug on 8 inch vent setups would help. Anyway, it's in now and we're very happy.

36 inch twister model. Heavy duty motor, stainless is heavy gauge. Everyone loves this unit great looking ! Let lights are the best . Mechanical controls heavy duty

This is one powerful Rangehood capable of removing 600CFM and that according to code requires a Make Up Air System. We resolved the code issue by only connecting the power to match code in our area.

Does what it supposed to do, great aspiration. A bit demanding on the install, need to be 2 on the outside installing the motor. Overall a good product, great quality and on top of things made in Canada! Good job Victory Range Hoods. So far highly satisfied now let’s see on the long run but I do not envision any issues base on the quality of the product.

Overall the unit is great. After thoroughly reading the installation manual the installation was not very difficult. The light switch and vent control switch are of great quality, look really nice and function well. I would note that if you already have a double gang switch box it was impossible to add a triple switch due to the total number of wires in the box. I ended up mounting a separate 2 gang box next to the current one for the range hood lights and fan. Mounting the unit was relatively simple with three people (2 to hold and one to screw it in).

Overall I am very satisfied with the functionality and look of the Sunset2 range hood. I’ve read other complaints about the noise level but it is not a disturbance to me. It’s no different than any other exhaust vent in my house. My only complaint would be that the lights are the yellow hue while the rest of the lights I have are a bright white. I checked online and could not find replacement led lights (even off brand) that are bright white. The light looks dingy while they are on. On the bright side it does make for a great night light!

I would give a 5 Stars, but the yellow light is really ugly.

Your willingness to modify your single, center exhaust sky hood to accommodate two 6” exhaust ducts with a remote location fan, allowed me to have an only 4” drop from an 8 foot ceiling. This kept the line of sight clear throughout our kitchen without sacrificing the function. What a terrific improvement! Thank you.

The Victory range hood is sleek and quiet. The underside of the hood has a very simplistic design that looks great in our new kitchen. We built a custom box to house the range hood to match our cabinets. The multiple light settings and fan settings is perfect and works well to ventilate the area. I am giving this the highest score and recommend this to anyone looking for a high quality hood.

My husband and I wanted a low profile range hood that was still stylish and fit with our kitchen remodel design. We are thrilled with both the look and performance of our new range hood and our contractor has already recommended it to two other clients of his. Extremely satisfied and would highly recommend.

Just installed in our new home with 9” ceilings. It fits perfectly with the rest of our kitchen. It is quiet and powerful enough to vent our cooktop. Our contractors thought it was very easy to install. Exactly what we were looking for!

Flushed, looks beautiful. But very loud. My contractor couldn’t set the different settings so it’s very loud.

When we moved into our home 17 years ago and redid the kitchen with a cooktop island, we did not install a bulky, obstructed island fan as options were limited. About 6 years ago we first noticed a low profile model on a commercial for something irrelevant. The search began and we found Victory and made in Canada. We finally decided we needed to install a fan and then everything fell into place. Online ordering, delivery, installation, entire process was exceptional. Photos to come as we are not finished building the light box around the fan. We are very happy customers and would highly recommend this product.

Pros:
The range hood is beautiful, with thick metal construction and rolled edges. There is not a single sharp edge even within the interior of the hood. I opted for the push-button model and the stainless steel is uniform in colour and sheen throughout.

The LED pot lights, while not emitting light over the backsplash, gives a strong, focused light onto the cooktop.

The dual fans on their lowest setting pushes the same amount of air as my old range hood at a fraction of the fan noise! Plus, the tone of the new fans is lower and less grating. It's great being able to have a conversation in the kitchen without shouting.

Cons:
DIY installation was extremely difficult for several reasons, even with three people.

First, the fans are placed further back than most range hoods so they obstruct the view of the back screw holes and give you very little room to drill and screw in. There is barely enough room to squeeze a medium-sized hand in the gap, let along a power drill. I used a 3" socket extension bar and a 7/64" hex shank drill bit to drill the pilot holes with a power drill while lying flat on my back. I then hand tightened the screws blindly for a few turns and finished off with a driver bit on a 3" extension on the power drill.

Second, the keyhole mounting holes are on the front left and the rear right of the hood, which means slipping the hood on the screws is more awkward than if both keyhole slots were in the rear or the front (albeit it's a more stable configuration).

Third, the kit does not come with the necessary wood screws or (optional) washers for installing under the cabinet. The kit came with drywall anchors and screws. I also wish the kit came with a mounting hole template.

Fourth, the protective film on the filters was incredible difficult to remove. Some film has remained around the latches, which I plan to address after I find a set of plastic tweezers and a spare hour to pick at them.

When I called Victory for installation tips, the representative was polite and friendly, and offered the names and phone #s of two nearby professional installers. However, they promised a technician would email me in an hour and I never received a response.
