New Range Hood is Great

After some friends recommended this brand, I purchased the Victory Luna. It looks very sleek and is quieter and more powerful than the product it replaced. It's now been about 3+ months since I installed it, and everything is great.

Excellent Product

We’ve been using this hood for the past few month and it’s exceeded our expectations. We live in a condo with a gas range and our old range hood simply didn’t have the power needed to vent smoke and cooking odours. Now we stir fry and sear steaks without fear of triggering our smoke alarm. Definitely recommend.

600 CFM LUNA- GREAT

We have been using it for about one year now and the Luna did not disappoint. Great build, very powerful and not too noisy. Granted that we have installed with a larger vent to reduce noise. Installation was done by professionals and it took two people for the lifting, so for sure help is needed. The filters go straight in the dishwasher which is very convenient. One small thing: it is not 30 inches and there is a little bit of space left on both sides, which I learned to ignore. But otherwise a fine product. Great price for the quality.

I can’t say enough about the Victory Sunset flush mount range hood. It’s exactly what I was looking for and is a beautiful focal point of my kitchen. I’m impressed with everything from the packaging to the ease of installation. The directions are easy to follow right down to the wiring and the fan is quiet even on high. I highly recommend Victory range hoods they are worth every penny, first time in a long time I feel that I got what I paid for.

Victory UC 400 30 inch under cabinet range hood 350 CFM

Looks great. I get a rattle sound on the lowest setting. For quick but noisy odours gone the full setting is good

Good hood, rough installation

First, this hood should have a better photo that clearly shows how rounded it is at the top. This wouldn't have changed my decision to order it, but it might for someone else.

Second, the installation method was awful; there's no other word for it. The backplate provided was not wide enough to reach even one stud, keyholes do not work for a range that sits flush up under a cabinet (there's no room to slide) and the instructions claimed that we would need only the backplate OR to drill up through the hood. This resulted in my husband holding up a 60 pound hood while I attached the backplate (to solid wood that I had run between the studs) and then for about 20 minutes after that while I figured out how to get it actually secure. There were no actual pilot holes, and I was drilling from above (the underneath is too tight to get a drill in), so I had to just attempt to aim for the drawn-on hole placements so I could screw a nut in underneath. Truly one of the worst installation experiences I've had.

My four star rating is because now that it's hung, it feels like a good quality appliance and does a great job clearing the smoke, vastly better than our old over-the-range microwave.

Could find

Amazing and will buy it again and again

We have ordered 1200 CFM Chimney Hood 42 Inch - Victory Twister-MAX and Galvanized Steel Wall Cap - 8" Duct. They have been installed for almost a year now. Their customer service is great. Due to the hanging height request from my husband and the ceiling limitation for only 8" duct, we ended up purchasing one size larger than we need so my husband will not bang on his head if it is hung on at a higher than recommended height. We both love the range hood very much. The LED lights, the noise and the ease of cleaning are all great. Most of the time we only use the lowest setting, I only use the higher setting when I do heavy duty cooking. But even on higher settings, the noise level is not bad at all. After living in rental houses for years without kitchen range hoods. I am happy that I do not need to wash the oil off the walls and ceiling any longer. With such a nice hood, it is lovely to cook everyday. If you are on the fence to get one, don't let the price scare you. Give them a call to help you decide. I will guarantee you every penny you spend is worth it.
