Do I need to clean my range hood motor?
All of our motors are designed to allow oil accumulation to drip out of the motor and into the filters, so you should not need to open the motor to clean it. If you notice a build up of oil inside your unit or blower however, then you may clean it with warm water and soap. Make sure to disconnect the unit from power before cleaning and that it is completely dry before connecting to power again.
