Currently mounted to 8" vent duct.
Compared to the Elica:

Build Quality: Elica has smoother edges and insulation to reduce noise levels. Victory has sharp edges particularly on the baffle filters which could cause cuts when attempting to wipe clean.

Airflow: Victory has better airflow likely due to larger hood design enabling better airflow into the fan. Elica has a more compact design resulting in slower airflow into the fan.

Noise level: the Victory hood has subjectively lower sound levels likely due to larger hood volume resulting in lower airspeeds even though more air is moved.

Lighting: Victory has significantly better lighting

Damage was noted on the unit that did not affect function. Financial compensation was provided promptly. CS attributed damage to shipping.

We spent a large amount of time researching hoods for residential use and found that there are very few hoods that actually have the air movement to properly vent out volatiles from cooking. This vent delivers and looks beautiful. Upkeep has been reasonable, the baffles are quite large, so it’s hard to clean, doesn’t fit in dishwasher.

It’s not perfectly ideal, but better than anything else I have seen on the residential market!

Ordered the 36” TwisterMax and had it installed over my outdoor gas grill. Works great and couldn’t be happier! Plenty of airflow to handle the outside grilling and the lighting really helps while cooking in the evening. Looks great too!

Order #10016661. Instructions could use a rehaul. But the product itself was very nice. So far it works good. Looks amazing.

We looked at many brands and settled on the remote blower Victory TwisterMAX for its clear look and quiet operation. This was a DIY installation!

Installed the range hood yesterday.
Missing parts.
The mounting bracket was missing.
The handles for the 3 filters under the range hood were missing.
Installed the 10 inch duct. Was a good choice. Not too loud.
Like the 2 knobs. Simple.
The 6 lights with the dimmer provide a well-lit area to cook.
I cannot find any information on the CFM for each of the 4 settings.
The max is 1200 CFM, but what are the CFM settings for setting 1,2 and 3?

Purchased a 1200cfm 36 inch hood. Super quiet function, really clean and professional baffle filters. Don't hesitate, these are great
