Great Buy

This Kitchen Fan performance is awesome, is powerful and get rid of strong smells very quickly. I highly recommend to buy from Victory Rage Hoods their products are great quality and good prices.

So far so good

The blue film was a pain to remove but the fan works well so far and provides the power and suction I wanted. I would have liked to been suggested to buy a matching hood vent for my 8" fan as they are super hard to find locally and I was not aware that I needed to upsize my exterior vent. Shipping was fast and packed well.

Wonderful, straight forward and powerful

I have used range hoods from Victory twice, my daughter's new kitchen and our own. Wonderfully made, straight forward design, very powerful. At the lowest setting evacuates better and much more quietly than the big box store ones they replaced on highest setting.

Found Victory online when I was looking for an insert for a professional grade range. Their customer service was excellent and the product is great, exactly what I was looking for. The Star range hood insert is quiet at low speed and effective at moving cooking smells out of the kitchen. Fast shipping too! I would definitely recommend them.

Quality unit - too loud and light angle incorrect.

This is a quality unit that performs well. The fan is very loud making conversation in the kitchen difficult while in use. The angle of the lights is towards the back of the range leaving a dark area on the front burners of the stove top, defeats the purpose of the light. Very annoying. I would not have purchased knowing these issues.

The lights are always angled toward the back to ensure that the back burners receive light as this is generally the darkest area of the stove. Regarding the noise, the unit should allow for regular conversation even on high speed, but especially on the lower speeds. If the noise is high on the lower speeds, please double-check the ducting and outside cap. This unit must be used with 8' ducting (no reducers) and the outside cap must be the same opening.
